Being an escort is all about making people feel good. It's why I started out in the industry, along with some other benefits it's brought me.
More than anything, I get asked why I became an escort. It's not an easy question to answer – because it's a job with so many aspects. I'll do my best to answer it for you though, and give you a little insight into what being an escort involves. You may be a man who wants to know a little more about a woman he may hire for the evening, or a woman thinking of becoming an escort herself. So let's start at the beginning? Why did I become an escort?
There's no doubt that I love spending time with men and making them feel good. Being an escort is all about offering a really high level of intimate companionship, and to do that, you've got to enjoy every single meeting you have. I've always been a people person – I find it really easy to chat to and get to know someone. Whatever career I've had in the past, it's always been one of my best skills. When I became an escort, I realised just how important it was.
I've often found myself bored by my previous jobs. None of them offered exactly what I was looking for, that certain special something. When I became an escort though, that all changed. I wasn't stuck behind a desk for eight hours a day any more. I was able to choose when and where I worked. At last, my career was on my own terms. For someone who had spent years in dead-end jobs, it was really liberating to not only do a job I love, but do it exactly how I wanted to.
Admittedly, when I became an escort I was determined to break down stereotypes. There's a really harmful misconception that most escorts are forced into the industry – but that's simply not true. I've had a good childhood, a good upbringing and I'm a pretty happy, well-adjusted girl. I'm an escort because I chose to be, because it was a career that suited me. Breaking down that stereotype has been difficult, but I really do like to help people to change their minds about why women work in the industry.
Perhaps the most important reason I became an escort is because it's an incredibly empowering career. I'm able to afford things I never could before, and I'm able to live in an apartment that would have been out of my reach previously. My job is really liberating. It's the interaction with my clients that gives me the biggest confidence boost though. Being told that I'm beautiful, talented and great to spend time with makes me feel great about myself. I'm also proud of the service that I deliver. Nothing boosts your self-esteem like knowing you're doing your job properly, and helping people along the way.
So there you have it – my answer to that common question! Each escort you ask may have a different story to tell, but I'm pretty confident that she'll mention most of the things that I do. You can't be successful in this industry without loving the job, and if you speak to an escort who's great at what she does, you'll find that her passion for the job is what keeps her trying to get better and better at it. So all you have to do is find yourself a good agency to work with, choose carefully there are lots of dodgy ones out there, do your homework make sure they are the type of people that care about their escorts and enjoy the fun!
